7 Pains That We Should Not Ignore

There are many types of pain that one can experience; the trouble is to know when those pains should be ignored and when they should be treated. Many of us take the pain over going to a doctor or figuring out what we’ve done to cause the pain.

There are also some pains that we are aware of such as those from exercising a little too much or moving heavy objects. We may think to ourselves that this is why we have the pain and in the morning it will go away. The thing is some pains don’t just go away and they shouldn’t be ignored. For those, one should seek help from a qualified doctor.

Here are some of the pains that we should pay attention to and should not ignore.

Headache

When you have an excruciating headache that has no cause and it is the worst headache you have ever had you need to visit a doctor. Many issues such as brain haemorrhage or brain tumours can cause these types of headaches. You may have suffered from a brain aneurism, which can sometimes lead to instance death or sudden death. In some cases it can be treated if you go to the emergency room right away.

Back Pain

The next pain you should seek a doctor for is pain in the lower back or between the shoulder blades. This is usually arthritis, but it could deal in a heart attack or abdominal issues.

Abdominal Pain

Severe abdominal pain should also be treated as serious. Abdominal pain can be issues with the gall bladder or appendix.

Chest, Throat, Jaw, Shoulder, Arm or Abdomen Discomfort

Next is pain or discomfort in the chest, throat, jaw, shoulder, arm or abdomen. Most often these are symptoms of a heart attack that should be treated immediately. Sometimes it is just pneumonia or a cold, but it is better to be on the safe side of things.

Calf Pain

There are several issues that can arise with a person and one of them is deep vein thrombosis, which is a blood clot in the leg, usually this is found with calf pain. A clot can actually cause pulmonary embolism if the clot begins to move or the pain worsens.

Burning Feet

The pins and needles sensation can actually be a way of your body telling you about nerve damage. It can also be linked to Diabetes that has not yet been diagnosed.

Unexplained Pain

The last pain you shouldn’t ignore is a combined, vague, or unexplained pain. These symptoms can be related to depression or other medical problems that you are unaware of. Always seek a certified medical professional about any unusually pain.
