		<description>Thanks for reinforcing my experience over recent years as I move towards the 'far end' of middle age.  
I still manage to keep those extra pounds at bay by meeting my body's changing needs as you suggest. Careful eating (I find the occasional brief binge is good for the soul), low impact exercise and regular weights see me fitter than I've probably ever been. 
If I can age this way, any baby boomer can!!
