Foods To Eat

Cabbage, papaya and pineapple.

Juice #1

  • 3 apples
  • 1/4 white cabbage
  • 1/4 small fennel bulb
  • 1 small bunch of fresh mint

Cabbage is very good for our stomach. This combination is excellent for soothing our digestive system.

  • 2 pears
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/2 pineapple
  • 1/2 inch ginger root

The blend of these three along with the ginger not only taste good, but they are especially good for the digestive tract.

Juice #3

  • 1/2 pineapple
  • 1 thick slice white cabbage
  • 1 inch ginger root
  • 1 small bunch of fresh mint

Pineapple contains a natural substance that helps digestion called bromelain, ginger soothes the digestive tract and cabbage calms the stomach lining.

Middle East Ginger Quencher

A ginger brew with a touch of Middle East from cardamom. Refreshing and good for digestion.

  • 1 inch grated ginger root
  • 10 cardamom pods
  • 1 pt (500ml) water

Bring to the boil and leave to simmer for at least 5 minutes. Strain and serve.

    I have tried quite a few different juice combinations and I have to agree to the effectiveness of them. Cabbage juice cured my ulcer! Thanks for the juice combinations and suggestions.
