Many people who suffer from this condition do not even realize that they need some kind of treatment. Add the fear of social rejection, and we have a condition that remains untreated for a long time. But the fact remains that bipolar disorder is not likely to go away on its own. Unless some kind of a treatment regime is followed, the condition is only likely to get more severe with time. In most cases, it is a family member that realizes the deviations in behavior.

Bipolar is a severe condition of depression, has cyclical episodes of depression and is commonly called manic depression. This can be violent.

Medication for bipolar includes mood stabilizers, antidepressants and soporific drugs. Though there is no known cure for the condition, he needs to be on medication at all times to ensure normal functioning.

Treating depression naturally by using nutritional supplements like St. John’s Wort and fish oil can help intelligently manage mild cases of bipolar disorder though.

Thanks for the great info. My ex is diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, as what I understand, this always happen with young children, only if it's not taken care when young, or it'll turn stable or cured when the child grown up.

I'm not sure about what happen in his childhood, but we suffered a lot in the past decade. Is there any possibility to get cure or how to avoid the incident?

Thanks.

Good article. I had a huge amount of stress in my job but always made sure I ate a balanced diet and took the right supplements and I have survived to retirement and I am reasonably healthy as I haven't visited a doctor in years.
